What is a Guardian Home

A guardian home is a family that cares for the breeder’s dog while it is part of the breeding program. The guardian home provides a permanent home for the dog while the breeder retains breeding rights for a set period of time. Once the dog retires from the breeding, it will be spayed/neutered, and ownership will be transferred to the guardian family.

Please note this is not an application for a retired or older dog, guardian dogs typically go to the guardian home at 8 weeks of age. Guardian dogs are chosen by the breeder for their breeding program. We prefer guardian families to be within a couple of hours of Saginaw, Michigan.

Meet Frankie, a beautiful liver, white, Tri English Springer Spaniel with a sweet and gentle soul. Frankie is currently seeking a loving Guardian Home where she can grow, thrive, and be a cherished part of a family while remaining part of our responsible breeding program.

Frankie has a naturally calm and easygoing temperament. She may be a little shy at first in new situations, but she warms up quickly with kindness and patience. Submissive by nature, she gets along well with both people and other animals, and her mellow energy makes her a great fit for a relaxed home environment. She enjoys a good cuddle, quiet time, and will blossom in a home where she’s treated with care and consistency.

Ideal Guardian Home:

  • Located within reasonable driving distance of Saginaw, MI

  • Stable household with time to dedicate to Frankie’s development and socialization

  • Willingness to follow health and care guidelines provided by the breeder

  • Commitment to keeping her as a house pet, with lots of love and attention

  • Preferably someone with experience with dogs or the willingness to learn

As part of a Guardian Home arrangement, all breeding-related expenses are covered by us. You are responsible for Frankie’s daily care, training, and routine vet visits.
